As always we start this episode, by asking ourselves …

“Where am I now?”.

We are in our EQ Sphere in our Devoted journey at the time of recording this episode. And I am having a ball! The EQ years of 8-14 were a tale of two halves for me … the first half was just perfect, and I feel as if I was living in my Gift of Imagination all the time (Gene Key 64). I was wild and free, ranging around the fields and hills, playing imaginative games.

When my dad died half-way through this part of my life, I flipped into the Shadow of Confusion. I was plunged into fear and loneliness, feelings of abandonment and rejection. I was bereft and sad and felt like there was always something wrong with me.

I went from being a self-sufficient wild child, to a terrified, lonely victim.

And I have been feeling these diametrically opposed emotions for the last two weeks … the depths of grief and sadness; the soaring heights of that wild imagination … and I am loving every minute of it. I feel so alive. I feel happier than I have ever felt in my life … I just get happier every damn day!

I am safe to feel my emotion.

And I’m thinking a lot about relationships, which is kind of what the Venus sequence is all about.

Meghan spoke beautifully about how we are moving through our feeling with such grace. She talked about how life is about feeling deep fulfilment, and how that includes EVERYTHING … the happiness and the bliss, the sadness and the trauma.

Meghan also talked about her Coffee Dates with her husband, and how she is practicing what she is learning in the Venus Sequence work she is doing … she talked about how there is more openness … she is practicing her Humanity.

We had such a delicious conversation about how this Venus Sequence work is having such a beautiful impact on our relationships … more love, more fun, more ease.

So, we come to our question from our GKU Community …

This question comes from the lovely Esther, who has given us some really fabulous questions, that are going to keep us talking for weeks to come 🙏🏻. Today we talked about this one …

Can you share more about meeting true soul friends later in life?

What advice and wisdom can you share around this experience to the younger women in GKU*?

We talked about how the deeper question here is not actually about age, or “later in life” per se. I think the question is really about friendships formed “later in the journey”.

I don’t think age comes into it. Yes, Meghan and I are only a few years apart, both in our 60s; but it’s not our respective ages that is important; it’s where we were in the journey when we collided in Hayley Curtis’s world on Boxing day 2022.

We had both been seekers after something more, something deeper, for decades.

We had both been yearning, in our own ways, for connection with kindred souls.

So, when the universe brought us together, sparks flew. The flames were fanned by us both embarking on Ignite Your Life within a couple of months of each other … Meghan led the charge, and I leapt onto my trusty steed and followed, even though I didn’t know where we were going.

My friendship with Meghan is more than just a friendship … it’s a partnership, a marriage, where we both bring so much, and the relationship becomes almost like a third entity joining us.

And Hayley, oh, Hayley is a friend the like of which I could never have imagined having. She is more than a guide and a mentor; she’s the friend who held my hand as I walked into the depths of myself. She’s my anam cara, my soul friend.

Meghan and I had the most delicious conversation about synergy, about our Gene Keys, our Lines. Meghan spoke about her EQ Gene Key 36 … This Gene Key goads human beings to breakthrough boundaries of experience. 🤯

Oh my god, I can’t tell you the relief I feel about having friends who speak the language of the Gene Keys! They get me. They’re in my life for a reason.

Meghan talked about how you can put out the intention to attract your soul friends to you. I loved how Meghan talked about how we make a contract with these soul friends before we even incarnate in this life.

The only advice I would give is … stay open, stay curious, stay willing, and trust what and who life brings you. Trust this mysterious fractal that has drawn you to the Gene Keys. Trust the women who are also attracted here. Trust the women who speak the same language as you.

That’s important. THEY are important.

Our Question to Ourselves

Esther’s question and our glorious conversation led so naturally into the question we had decided to talk about ourselves this week …

What is it like to be doing the inner work within a group like Devoted?

We had the most wonderful conversation about Hayley‘s glorious Devoted container, that we are both in along with eleven other women. We both agreed that the work we are doing in this group container is the most nourishing, incredible work. Being on this path with other women, everything we experience individually triggers experience in all of us.

As long as you are willing to be open, then you open up something in the other women. We talked about how we can hear what one woman says and it opens up whole other avenues for our own contemplation.

We talked about how we all seem to be attracting the same types of lessons, and how our breakthroughs trigger breakthroughs.

And oh, Meghan had the most glorious things to say about the Synergy of working in a group, and how we are “practicing” being the new humans!! And of course, she is adept at this work of synergy, because she has that Gift in her Attraction sphere. ❤️‍🔥

Oh, how I loved this conversation with my best friend! How lucky am I to have this soul friend in Meghan?! How lucky are we all?!
