Welcome to Season 2 Episode 13 of Conversations With A Couple Of Crones.
This week we have moved into our EQ sphere in the Sage’s Golden Path Retreat. We have called this episode “The EQ and Riding the Winds of Change” because, obviously, we are enamoured with our EQ Gene Keys and Sage Words (that’s the first part of the title); the second part refers to the fact that this sphere is so much about change.
I’d like to quote our wonderful friend and guide, Hayley Curtis, here …
“Your EQ represents the time in your life from 8-14 which actually reveals something very important about the nature of the EQ. From 8-14 you will have undergone some of the greatest changes in your entire life. It’s the time we enter puberty!! We are transitioning from being an innocent child and moving towards young adulthood.
Our bodies were changing, our feelings towards the opposite sex (or whichever sex you were attracted to at that time) were changing, our feelings about, and the dynamic with, our parents were changing, the way we wanted to be treated was changing, our interests were changing. CHANGE.
The EQ has so much to do with the way we cope with change. Nothing triggers the emotions quite like change. When something suddenly changes that you weren’t expecting … holy moly can those emotions can get going!”
So, here we are, in this sphere of change, and we are both experiencing change in our lives … internally and externally … and we have been having lots of conversations this week about how we are navigating these changes, how we are staying grounded and on course, as we are buffeted by the winds of change.

This CWACOC is one long “where am I now?” exploration.
Meghan has so many changes going on in her life … changes to do with her relationship with her body, and with how she cares for it. There are huge changes in her creativity, which is expanding and growing exponentially, with many creative balls in the air.
Here are the cards that Meghan talks about on the Podcast. Her delicious Hippo and her multi-tasking Raccoon.

For me, I am experiencing the perfect storm of confusion and change – GK64 here in my EQ, GK64 as the current Pulse, the EQ having GK48 as its representative key – the unknown. All that and my external life abounds with change right now. All is confusion. All is unknown. Yet here I am, not in a tailspin of panicked stress, but calm, in the eye of this perfect storm. This speaks to the Core Stability I have built.
Here are the art journal cards I have been making as I travel with Peacock, the Dream Arc bird for my GK64 Siddhi of Illumination …

Our EQ Sage Words
We then talked about our EQ Sage Words, Lines and Sutras. Meghan’s Gene Key here is 36.4, mine is 64.5.
Here they are …

I’m sure that even if you have neither 36.4 nor 64.5 in your chart, that you will enjoy this conversation. There was so much juice and inspiration, fun and creativity, in it.
And you will love our whimsical questions to each other!
