Welcome to episode 13 of Conversations With A Couple Of Crones.

We start, as always, with the question “Where am I now?”.

I am still in a state of high excitement, having just launched our website!

I also spoke about moving into the Pathway of Initiative in our Devoted journey.

Meghan spoke about how her Shadows showed up for her this week, especially her Culture Gene Key.

This is kind of normal, when you move into working with a new Gene Key. She spoke about how she fell into the energy of trying to “fix” the Shadow, and in this case, with her Culture Shadow, how she was in resistance, and feeling that Exhaustion.

She spoke about how we are “safe to feel our fears” … it’s normal to feel this way!

“The discomfort is safe!” That was a powerful statement that Meghan made, that really landed for me.

Having the Courage to Follow the Direction of Our Own Feet

We are both on the Pathway of Initiative in our Golden Path journey with Hayley Curtis, and our “where am I now?” question led into our conversation about this wonderful pathway.

This is the first pathway in the Pearl Sequence, and it joins the sphere of the Vocation and the sphere of the Culture. We spoke about how this website, A Cauldron of Crones, is us moving into this Pathway of Initiative, it is us taking our inner work out into the world!

“Initiative is having the courage to follow the direction of one’s own feet”

We had the most delicious conversation about how the energy of the Pearl Sequence “stretches you to the edges of your evolution”.

Without the stretch, we don’t grow. Without the stretch, we don’t evolve.

Stretch but don’t push.

Stretch but don’t force.

Stretch but rest.

We are taking our Venus Sequence and moving it into action.

Walking the Virgin Path

We also had the most delicious conversation about how doing this work is all about walking that “virgin path”, we are walking our own path. Our Cauldron of Crones is our virgin path … we are both walking it our own way, our two individual paths, weaving together.

It is love that defines how I walk this path.

There are no signposts on this virgin path, so I have to follow the love, lead with my heart, let my mind rest and trust me to find the way through.

Our Question From Our Community … Bringing the Fire

Our friend and fellow Devotee, Elisabeth, inspired this question in our Devoted container this week …

We see the Vocation Gene key as being the place you start the fire – it’s that spark!

And your Culture Gene key is how you nurture that fire and keep it burning!!

When you look at the analogy of fire and being your 2 Gene keys into it – what does it reveal to you?

Oh my goodness, we had the best conversation about bringing the fire, about the feminine power of the fire.

We talked about the relationship between our Vocation and Culture Gene Keys.

We talked about this wonderful partnership of ours, about this dance that we are in.
