One of Meghan's first pieces for her Alchemical Art series. Created using Procreate, it features 8 colourful triangles, with leaves etched in them, against a collage background. There is a Howard Thurman quote
In this pinned post I will be housing all the fun reels I make for this Alchemical Art Adventures offering. You'll find them below the text.

When I committed to the Sage’s Journey with the Gene Keys, a 16 month mystery school taking us around the Golden Path beginning this month, I thought I’d be more of a bystander. At the end of December I completed a turn around the Golden Path in a year long intimate group hosted by Hayley Curtis called Devoted. Did I want to jump back into the Golden Path again? And yet somewhere between the ending of one inner work journey and before the next began I felt the call to up level my creativity. I mean take it to heights I’d barely allowed myself to dream about. (I speak about it in our most recent Wizardly Words on Wednesdays.)

Part of this creative up leveling was informed by Lizzie’s decision to write a book about her Sage’s Journey, about her inner journey along the Golden Path. I immediately wanted to illustrate her book by making art visually describing my own inner adventures on this 16 month journey. It would be OUR book. Lizzie loved the idea and we are holding this dream softly as we play in our creative realms. My creative realm needed to get to the next level for me to pull off the dream.

This call to challenge my ‘art ability status quo’ put me on the path to learn a whole new way of making art. I want to learn to play in the realms of digital art on the iPad. This means not just learning a whole new robust app, Procreate, but once learned, develop a style of illustration that is unique to me as well as serving to visually express my inner work.

Once I began the Sage’s Journey, I felt even more called into my genius and finding a way to express that genius and my flavor of spirit through art. While you as viewers will not be privy to every stumble and awkward piece of art, I thought I’d bring you along for the ride a couple of times a month as I make digital art pieces using Procreate and my imagination. Playful Puffin Adventures is my analog art expressions and this one is the digital.

Speaking of imagination, one of the Dream Arc birds I am traveling with this year wanted to part of this visual project: the Peacock, Vision of Mystical Illumination (with his friend the Leopard, Dreamtime Imagination) both Gene Key 64.

You can watch these videos on either Instagram or YouTube but if you miss one they are all here.

I am slightly annoyed that the text on my first digital art project (in the header) is incorrect (missing a capital letter) and I can't figure out how to correct it because I did some fancy layer thing with it to make the font look distressed. I'm going to keep it here in this post however to remember my beginner status with this new app, as well as owning my own imperfection.
