2025 and my 3rd Time through the Gene Keys Golden Path

I have just completed a full year of journeying through the Gene Keys Golden Path with a small group of women from all over the world (including Lizzie) in the retreat style container Hayley Curtis calls Devoted. I’m sure if you have listened to our podcasts or read any of our articles you’ve heard us speak about this amazing adventure and the transformation each of us has undergone.

Lizzie and I are writing companion articles about our experiences as a way of saying goodbye to the most life changing experience either of us has ever had (besides maybe childbirth 😉). In a way the articles are more about making the transition out of the rhythm and tenderness of Devoted and into the rhythm that we are bringing into being for 2026. Both of us are going to be walking the Golden Path again in January on the Sage’s Golden Path through the Gene Keys. We want to journey with Richard Rudd on his last set of retreats.

This year in Devoted I have been walking the Golden Path (the Activation Sequence, the Venus Sequence and the Pearl Sequence in that order) for the third time. For me, this time around was illuminating on whole new levels. I understood the spheres and the pathways, and new aspects of my own keys and lines that had eluded me before. However, I think the most important thing I did this year was to bring the teachings into my life each and every day. That’s really what I want to share today.

How I brought the teachings into my everyday life.

For the first four months when we were in the Activation Sequence, as part of my daily meditation every afternoon, I went through my whole chart performing the hand mudras for each of my Gene Keys in the Golden Path order. Early on in my study of the Gene Keys I purchased all of the hand mudras. (This one below is one of Lizzie’s.) I loved the physicality of performing the Gene Key Siddhi (that’s what the mudras are) with my hands in order. As the year went on my habits shifted but I hope to get back to this again in 2026.

As I was going through my Activation Sequence (one month for each sphere) I distilled my Gene Keys into a phrase and an image that served to remind me of all the lessons in each key. And I made a visual to put on my vision board. It lived there all year.

AI generated images of an older woman with long silver braids. She wears denim overalls. In one she is sitting with a bear. In another she sits and watches a flock of cranes. In the next she is holding a hedgehog and is standing in front of an open door to a cabin. A dog sits beside her. In another she is sitting at a table with another woman with long red hair. In the last she is pictured painting at a table in a sunlit forest.

I knew I wanted to do one for my Venus Sequence so I began building one on my iPad (I used a mix of digital art with the app Bazaart and AI generated images for the circles). The Venus Sequence takes a lot of months so it sat on my iPad for about half the year. During that time I worked on another visual project.

One of my words for the year 2025 was Equilibrium. I was inspired to create an oracle deck of quotes all about balance. The deck starred the Dream Arc animals for the Gene Key 50 that is my IQ and has Equilibrium as its gift: Spider, Raccoon and Golden Oriole. Over a few months I made 64 cards using AI generated images and quotes from all over the world including many from Richard Rudd and the Gene Keys and Dream Arc. I had them professionally printed and use them often! I learned a great deal about maintaining my equilibrium with this creative adventure.

As we completed the Venus Sequence I was able to finish my second visual reminder. I even wrote an article (and we did a podcast) about how I use this to “remember.” Something organically happened at this time, I began bringing all the words for my own Golden Path into a prayer every morning touching into each sphere, orienting myself with these words and reminding myself of the shadowy possibilities and more importantly the gifts.

“May I come to this day with a smile on my face and remember to have cheerful equanimity” (etc).

AI generated images of an older woman with long silver braids. She wears denim overalls. In one she is washing up, bathed in sunlight. In another she has a woodpecker on her shoulder and a lynx stands beside her. In the next she is trekking in the mountains with a backpack. In another she stands in front of a wooden cabin with bright windows. There is a white bison. In another she is pictured with a raccoon and a bird. In the last she sits on a porch swing with here faithful dog beside her.

In our Golden Path group, Devoted, we just finished our Pearl Sequence and I just finished this final visual reminder in time to complete my year.

Will I continue my morning prayers as they now stand? Or will something happen in the Sage’s Journey that helps me shift into an even more deepening practice? I don’t know. And I am open to whatever comes. As you notice on the visual above, my Brand (GK 34) is Radiating Receptive Strength and I’m letting myself be receptive to whatever 2026 and my new adventure brings.

I now have all three of these images on my vision board to start the year out, and I pull a card daily from my Equilibrium/Raccoon oracle deck. The constant daily reminder of my own super powers is such a gift I’ve given myself. I reinforce this practice by talking with my BFF Lizzie daily on Voxer, playing in the realms of our shadows, gifts and touches of our Siddhis using the glorious language of the Gene Keys.
