Welcome to a new feature … Wizardly Words (on every other Wednesday). I am in the year long program with Hayley Curtis and 12 others called Devoted, walking our Gene Keys Golden Path together. At the moment we are in the SQ Sphere and in my SQ Sphere I have the Gene Key 62: Intellect/Precision/Impeccability. A delicious part of Gene Key 62 is the progression from the shadow of intellect with it’s dualistic traps to the energy of precision and the power of language to form our reality (Richard Rudd says 62 is the glossary of the Gene Keys). I am feeling the call to up-level my language in order to up-level my reality and so intend to start a vocabulary exercise for myself utilizing the incredible words Richard magicked together to create the Gene Keys written transmission.
I mentioned this to Lizzie (who has GK 62 in her Attractor Sphere) and we decided to share the fun and bring this to the whole community and to our online home here in A Cauldron of Crones! Why dive into the vocabulary of this transmission individually when we can bring our creativity to our fractal community? It will be a bi-monthly feature and we will alternate weeks.
Lizzie and I thought it would be a good idea this first month to bring the four words that are the bedrock of the Gene Keys approach into this space.
I am beginning this new offering with the word INQUIRY
A good place to start this inquiry into the work Inquiry is with a dictionary definition.
When learning a new word I also love to play with all the Synonyms and Antonyms…. Doing a word search like this one I generated online helps me to ponder the word, bringing its outer world vibes into my conciousness without attaching too many thoughts and previous associations to it.
I never stop here as Richard Rudd’s words always have a much deeper meaning which is specific to the Gene Keys transmission. Invariably the more potent meaning that Richard weaves for us includes our inner world, not just how the word is perceived in our current outer culture. In this case, since it is one of the four aspects of the Gene Keys Approach, I looked for Richard Rudd’s definition for Inquiry in the Gene Keys Guide’s Course.
Wowza… now that is a definition that calls us directly into the higher vibrational essence of this word bringing with it such alive and potent words as introspection, wisdom, cultivation and presence. With Richard’s definition Inquiry is not just a word but a state of being.
Inquiry is actually the gift state of the 63rd Gene Key. The shadow for this key is doubt and is a key aspect of the process of Inquiry. Because of our doubt, inner and/or outer, we are driven to be open to possibility and to find something new, to Inquire into our inner and outer circumstances. Doubt is the portal into something higher and Inquiry is the vehicle.
I think my favorite part of the gift of Inquiry in the Gene Keys is that it is ultimately about cultivating the innocent mind of a child, and the spirit of curiosity. Inquiry is not about answers, but about questions. It’s why I whimsically played with the word search puzzle above and the word map below in this post. In his definition, Richard might have indicated that we are to ‘ask profound introspective questions’, but no-one said the process had to be serious. And calm presence as we are inquiring can absolutely hold humor, laughter and play.
The Siddhic state of the 63rd Gene Key is Truth. Without giving away Richard’s definition of Truth, suffice it to say Inquiry is leading us to the embodied understanding that ALL IS TRUTH (and of course I totally did give it away… but it is such a BIG statement, I leave you to play in the realm of Inquiry for the rest of your life to crack that one open).
I now choose a lifestyle that includes INQUIRY! How about you?
