Welcome to Episode 8 of Conversations With A Couple Of Crones with Meghan and Lizzie! This episode is all about the Epic Tale of the SQ Gene Key and an exploration of Puzzle Pieces!

“Where am I now?”.
We are both in the first week of working with our SQ sphere in Hayley’s Devoted container, as we record this episode. Meghan talked about how she is processing a lot of emotions right now, and how because of that she is not sleeping very well. She also spoke about how she is practicing compassionate communication not only with her husband, but with other family members who are visiting at the moment.
I spoke about how I have been spending most of my time contemplating the Pathway of Love. I’m also starting to think about I am going to talk to Hayley about during my first Devoted one to one with her this week. I think I just want some Hayley Magic! I just want her to talk to me about the SQ and about 55 and how the two fit together.
We changed things up a bit this week and started with our inquiry to ourselves … In our SQ Retreat, Hayley told us this…
Your SQ is an epic journey, and just like Harry Potter or Frodo, you have to face shadowy characters. Like Harry facing Voldemort, you facing the Shadow of your SQ is part of your epic story. There's no story without Voldemort. Your SQ Shadow is your Lord Voldemort ... it's here to refine you and open you up to the truth of love, and to send you an epic adventure!
So, we wanted to look at this idea of our SQ Shadow being our own personal Lord Voldemort. This really appealed to both of us. We are great lovers of story; we are natural storytellers, so the idea of assigning our Shadows the role of antagonist in our own epic tale was right up our street!
I’ll be honest, my Gene Key that I have here, 55, is blowing my mind. Richard Rudd calls it the central Gene Key. He says … “The 64 Gene Keys encapsulate a whole new transformational language for deep contemplation, and the heart of this language is communicated through the 55th Gene Key.”
The 55th Shadow of Victimisation programs all human beings at a cellular level to a single effect — it ensures that every individual becomes his or her own worst enemy. What better Shadow for Lord Voldemort to inhabit!?
For me, the character traits of Lord Voldemort are ruthlessness, arrogance, intelligence, desire for power and knowledge, obsessive …and most of all … FEAR OF DEATH.
The name “Voldemort” in the Harry Potter series is derived from the French phrase “vol de mort,” which translates to “flight from death” or “theft of death”. This etymology reflects Lord Voldemort’s obsessive pursuit of immortality and his fear of death, which are central themes in the books.
I see all of these in my Shadows. And this SQ Shadow of Victimisation, it wraps ALL of my Shadows in it, and there couldn’t actually be a better antagonist to play my SQ Shadow than Voldemort.
So many of the Shadows in my chart can be stripped right down to an underlying fear of death. And this SQ shadow of Victimisation, which Richard says is what ALL shadows are flavours of, this is the Mother of that Fear of Death. This is the birthplace of it all.
When Hayley said that we all need an antagonist, an adversary we have to defeat in the epic saga of our lives, our Lord Voldemort, it was like a piece of the puzzle falling into place.
This journey of my life is NOT as Voldemort’s is, an attempt to cheat death, to be immortal. It is a journey of the complete acceptance of death as a natural part of life. It’s a journey to defeat the fear of death.
And all the way through my Gene Keys journey of the last two and a half years, again and again, I have come to the understanding that the antidote to fear, ANY fear, EVEN the fear of death, is love.
Freedom is the only true medicine of the future. There are many levels of freedom, but the ultimate freedom is freedom from believing you are separate from life. The coming awareness through the 55th Gene Key heralds the absolute end of the fear of death. In fact, the 55th Gene Key does more than end this fear — it proves that there is no such thing as death. Paraphrasing Richard Rudd here!
Meghan’s SQ Gene Key is 62, with its Shadow of Intellect. In true intellect, precision 62 style, Meghan created a list! She looked at gifts within her 62, and how Voldemort would undermine this gift. And then how she, as a wizard, would respond.
For example, Lord Voldemort would do all he could to isolate her, because in her isolation she is weakened, disconnected. And how she, as a wizard, would remember connection each day.
There was a really juicy discussion about dualism, and about how there is no such thing as a mistake!! This starts just before 20 minutes in, and it is bloody delicious!!
Lord Voldemort would undermine her by using the Dilemma of 62, which is Facts … Meghan spoke so beautifully about cellular certainty, about language. I loved this conversation so much. I have 62 in my Attractor sphere, and hearing Meghan’s take on it from the perspective of her SQ was so illuminating to me.
Lord Voldemort is EVERYWHERE in our world these days, so Meghan spoke about calling in allies, like the Mouse, who is travelling with her now. And the Woodpecker, which is the Dream Arc creature for the Siddhi of Impeccability here in Meghan’s 62. The Woodpecker can cut you free from duality … if you surrender!!!
And flowing beautifully on from that conversation, we posed ourselves this week’s Question from our GKU Community. This week we have another question from the lovely Debbie in Gene Keys Unleashed with Hayley Curtis …
If you had to complete your chart with just one Gene Key from someone else’s, which one would it be and where would you place it?
Meghan would choose GK63 … Doubt, Inquiry and Truth, which is in her mum’s chart. If she had the Gift of Inquiry, she could open her mind; and if she had the Siddhi of Truth … well, then there is no separation.
If she had GK63, she would have all four of the Gene Keys in the Ring of Divinity.
I would choose GK22 … Dishonour, Graciousness and Grace, which is Meghan’s Core Wound/Vocation and Lizzie Pickles’ Evolution.
Richard calls it the sister GK to my 55. Together they are the forces of Evolution and Involution coming together. I love how he describes 22 as the magical process of invocation. I feel as if this whole Gene Keys work is my way of invoking love, of invoking trust and safety and magic. So, I would love to have the magical power of invocation.
“All true Alchemy concerns the transmutation of suffering through alignment with Divine Will”. Wow!! If that is not worth having in your chart, I don’t know what is!!
I also love that the Dream Arc symbol is the deer, which marries perfectly with my Stag in my Radiance sphere.
Richard says that the Gift of Graciousness could also be called the Gift of Soul … the ability to live life to the full, holding no feelings back, whilst at the same time having deep respect for the feelings of others. THAT is exactly what I am trying to do with this work. That is tapping into my Life’s Work of Dynamism, and my Vocation of Leadership. It is what ALL of my Gifts are really about.
It’s about taking responsibility for my own feelings. And I love that!!! The dilemma is accountability, so it’s about being accountable for my own emotions, for what I say, what I do, all of it!

And of course, I absolutely love what Richard said about it being better to be “fucked up and aware” than to not be aware but moving in the world in a fucked up way!
It seems to me that GK 22 is all about myth and magic, which makes it the perfect GK to sit above my SQ GK of 55, the birthplace of my own mythical tale. There would be a direct connection between my Purpose, my SQ, my Stability, my Pearl and my Brand.
Our friend, Lizzie Pickles said this wonderful thing about GK22 … And grace, I’ve learned, isn’t about being calm and composed all the time. It’s about staying present with your emotions.
And we ended with our whimsical questions to each other … both of our questions stayed with the magical theme of the whole conversation. 🧙🏻♀️🪄😘
