I began a 40 day spiritual journey when I was in my Culture GK in Devoted (late October/November). The Robin is the vision bird for my Gene Key 40 in my Culture Sphere. I decided to heed the call of the Robin and emulate an awakened being for 40 days. I began on Nov 16 and my last day will be Christmas. 

I am Robin. Full of fire am I. Who else would dare pull a bloodied thorn from the head of Christ? And what a transformation that brought to all the bird people! So too must you dig deep inside yourself for the spiritual courage to yourself become a Great One. The ancients called this divine pride - to imagine yourself as a Buddha, a Christ, or any other great teacher, of any gender. This then is my challenge to you. For forty days, you must imagine yourself as a great soul. You must reinvent your life from the inside out. How will you speak, behave? How will you think? What will become important to you? When I did this journey two years ago I traveled with the wizard Merlin. This time I chose a woman, Saint Teresa of Ávila. And when I was lightly preparing for my journey I wondered what Dream Arc animal might want to travel with me. I was delighted to get a message that one animal from each category would be good to travel with. Twelve animals to represent the twelve categories of the Dream Arc pantheon!!!!! I immediately began feeling into which animal from which category was meant for this journey. 

I was already traveling with the Bat at that time and so I tapped into her Crystalline Intuition and chose the animals with my body/mind intuition.

• JOURNEYERS: Robin was first of course, as it was her directive that had me on the journey to begin with. So, I am traveling with the Vision of the Sacred Flame.
• MESSENGERS: Bat was an easy one as I have not finished traveling with this gifted creature. Crystalline Intuition is my guide.
• LAUGHERS: I am traveling throughout 2025 with two Dream Arc animals, the Raccoon and the Duck. Raccoon seemed to be the star for the first 6-9 months but as I get closer to the end of December I’m feeling the Duck’s Vision of Blissful Service (which will be the Pulse when I complete this project on Christmas Day), so my Laugher is the Duck.
• GUARDIANS: I began my journey during the Pulse of Gene Key 14, and Turtle is the underworld creature for that key. I also have GK 14 as my Stability Sphere and yet hadn’t played in Turtle’s waters yet. He called to me to include him: The Fear of Prosperity. (Pretty apropos for my journey with Devoted as well since we are in the Pearl Sequence through the end of the year and it is all about redefining prosperity.)
• LEAPERS: The Horse has been in and out of my consciousness for a few months but I hadn’t really been officially traveling with her so I committed to her call and her message of Benevolent Revolution.
• DREAMERS: The Lizard made his voice heard early on in my choices wanting to make sure that I allow this journey to be gentle and enriching and not forceful and driving. Lizard brought in the Fear of Ease and as such brought in ease. Big calm sigh here. (GK 34 is my Life’s Work and Brand so I like to be reminded of ease whenever possible!)

• TRICKSTERS: The Chameleon came to me, and I’m not sure why… I think I was playing with the concept of the ego and how it can entangle us, yet Gene Key 26 tells us how to actually beneficially use the ego we’ve been gifted with as humans! I felt closer to the Chameleon than the Fox or Merlin bird (the other Dream Arc representatives of GK 26) so his energy of the Fear of Being Seen joined the group.
• HEALERS: The Giraffe joined in early on as well, and I’m not sure why. She chose me and I’m simply basking in her energy of Loving Far-Sightedness. When I traveled with Giraffe and Gene Key 17 a year or so ago she really helped me with all of my Line 6 energy.
• CHANGERS: I felt the need for a creature that has a cocoon. In my EFT sessions with Samantha Lee Vigliotti  I have been feeling invisible wings between my shoulder blades covered with cocoon like material. I could have gone with the Silkworm, but it is the same Gene Key as the Horse. So I read the Caterpillar and felt like it worked well with the energy I needed. So funny how the two messages from Chameleon and Caterpillar are their own paradox. Caterpillar, Gene Key 7 (Teresa of Avila’s Life’s Work BTW) and the Fear of Being Overlooked joined the crew.
• UNIFIERS: At this point I was missing a Unifier, Hunter and a Warrior so I got out the lists and creatures in each category. The Elephant stepped forward as the Unifier. So many great connections beyond simply her message, Deep Patience. She is my Relating Sphere Gene Key of 5 and we traveled the whole of our Venus Sequence with her in Devoted.
• HUNTERS: Perusing the Hunter list I saw that I could choose Cat, since I was traveling with her in my Culture Sphere already and she is my Kin animal, but I went a different direction. I chose the Owl and Vision of Spontaneous Wisdom. My BFF Lizzie has this Gene Key 48 in her Purpose Sphere and I love everything she says about it. But I also have named my own Higher Self/Soul Sophia, which means Wisdom. And this whole journey is about connecting to her!
• WARRIORS: I went back and forth on this one… Toucan kept coming towards me. But my mind pointed out that I already had a representative of Gene Key 14 in the Turtle. However, as I was going over the list of Warriors none had the powerful energy that resonated with me like the Toucan. So Vision of Bounteous Recognition it is!!!!

After choosing these amazing creatures and making the image of the castle surrounded by the Dream Arc counsellors, I then copied their messages from the Dream Arc course text into my “reference journal” for my 40 day journey. I had absolutely no idea how I would interact with these animals and their message frequencies. For all I knew I was just going to look at them for 40 days on my vision board.

However, as I began writing every day to my soul, my Sophia, she began directing me gently towards different contemplations and some of them were these animals and their messages. Those then became art journal pages. I have now done three art journal spreads, one animals each, and I am halfway through my 40 days. Clearly the Elephant has been at work. As I gaze at my animals right now as I’m writing this, I can see that the Bat and the Lizard are simply here with me always as energies I am constantly cultivating. The Robin has done her job by setting me on the quest and Duck will be my reward at the end. That leaves five energies that might or might not make an appearance on an art journal page after deep reflection on their meaning in my letters to my soul. And I am also up for mysterious surprises! How fun to be surprised by joy!
